Black Bates Floaters

Here is a pair of black Floaters. These were made by the Bates Shoe Co. before it was absorbed into Wolverine. These shoes are very warm and very comfortable. The sole is made of rubber but there is no heavy tread. You can get a good grip on icy surfaces yet not bring a lot of slush and mud indoors because you can actually wipe your feet off cleanly -- something that cannot be done with "waffle" style soles.
